This anthology is a book of essays/articles with several contributors. All contributors are Christian female leaders from all over the country. Each woman is asked to give her perspective on A Woman’s Place in the kingdom of God. Our aim is that these authors will come together with a common desire to minister to other women. We hope to encourage and activate women to move into their God-ordained purpose. Readers will be inspired and moved to a closer walk with the Lord.
We are all called to pour out our lives into someone else. Not Without My Daughters helps the reader understand the basics of the mentoring relationship. The author uses the relationship between Ruth and Naomi to express God’s desire for these important relationships.
I Want A Husband, Too is the single woman’s handbook. The author talks the single woman through common myths and what she should and should not be looking for in a husband.
The word submission has often been misapplied and misunderstood, especially in church circles. A wife is not a slave to her husband. She has been called to liberty. The S Word brings clarity to God’s idea of submission.
Unafraid is the conduit to fearlessness. There will always be troublesome situations and circumstances to confront. However a victorious life awaits us on the other side of fear. The secret is to move forward even while fear is present. “Fearlessness is more of an attitude than an emotion. One can actually be fearless while feeling fear.”
In Unafraid, Crystal helps the reader to confront and attack fear when it rears its ugly head. She gives practical tips to help the reader approach life in bold confidence.
Does God care about survivors of sexual violence? Should survivors press charges against the offenders? Can survivors ever get their lives back and reclaim their joy? Author Crystal Jones enlists the Scriptures to answer these questions and others from God’s perspective. Often the survivor of sexual abuse has been stripped of her self image and left without comfort that God cares. But the author points to God’s heart about such matters.
In a spiritual exchange, God offers beauty for ashes. He is able to compel survivors to reject shame, regain their voices, and to open their hearts to His love and purpose. Taking the Ashes is the prescription for hope and comfort for those who have been broken by sexual trauma and for all those who love them.
